Absolute and Relative Trade Deficit: Elaborating a bit on the Simplistic Arguments.



In other entries of this Blog, we have introduced several trade indicators related to the trade balance. In particular, we have used the absolute and relative trade balance in a way to get a better understanding of complex bilateral trade relations. This new entry will try to shed some additional light on this issue for the case of the US and Mexico trade relation[1].
